Social Media Content writer
ROLE TITLE & DEFINITION
A Social Media Copywriter is responsible for managing the content writing requirements of the sales and operations department.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DELIVERABLES
• Social media accounts copies
• Blogs & Articles
• Sales emails & Whatsapp messages copy
• Content calendar for social media
• Manage company and Founder’s Social Media
• Successfully run the Client Social Media accounts to become the Sr. Social Media Copywriter
• Client co-ordination
TASKS & ACTIVITIES
Social media accounts copies
• Based on the approved content calendar, write the caption that would go with every post. Prepare and update in drive on advance basis so that the posts can go as per schedule.
• Conceptualise content for stories(For all social media accounts wherever applicable) and get it designed by the Graphic Designer. Plan this a week in advance and communicate with the designer.
• Write attractive bios for the client
• Write Social Media brand introduction content
Blogs & Articles
• Research and prepare a blogging plan for all clients and the company (Cosmolance Tech Pvt. Ltd.) as per their sales objective.
• Hold discussion with the Digital Marketing Manager to finalise the blogging plan.
• Ensure the presence and frequency of right kind of keywords.
• Write the blogs and articles as per finalised schedule and plan and submit for client’s approval.
Sales E-mails & Whatsapp messages copy
• Understand the goal of the sales copy and medium of distribution.
• Identify few keywords that can hit a chord with the audience.
• Prepare the copy in such a manner that it’s and interesting read and has a proper CTA(Call to action
Content calendar for social media
• Research and create the monthly calendar for clients by the 25th of every month.
• Seek approval of Content Calendar through the coordinator of that client.
• Prepare an understandable brief for Graphics team and hold a meeting to explain the same to them.
• Keep a buffer of 1-2 posts in case of rejection during the month.
Manage company and Founder’s Social Media
• To write for the founder and company on the basis of platform like Linked in, Instagram, Facebook, Quora etc.
• Creation of content calendars, taking input from the founder and delivering as per schedule.
Client Co-ordination
• Responsibility for Taking approvals for each social media creative and its caption
• Actively staying in touch with clients to ensure the account stays with the company and client is satisfied with our work.
• In case of any disputes or unhappiness of the client plz bring the Digital marketing manager into the picture and try to sort out issues.
Successfully run the social media accounts to become the Sr. Social media Copywriter
• Receiving good reviews from the clients.
• Making the social media accounts handled by you great in terms of quality of posts, bio, stories and engagement in comparison with the competitors.
• Complete the learning module assigned.
• Sales copies written by you get good engagement and help us in getting new business.
MEASUREMENT METRICS
• Timely preparation of Content Calendar (Upto 7 clients)
• Timely delivery of all social media copies and sales copies on schedule (Approx. 200 )
• Social media stories execution as per client schedule
