DesignCafe is looking to hire a creative content writer who would write content for DC’s blog, website, Quora, Pinterest, Web-Push, Google Stories and more.

Your responsibilities include but not limited to

As a full time Senior Content Writer will support the Marketing Department to deliver digital marketing and offline brand assets and materials on-time. You will assist with various functions in the Content Team with a strong focus on creating and shaping both digital and brand assets, and marketing communications messaging for Design Cafe & Qarpentri. In this role you will work across projects and teams and may include writing and shaping content for, press releases and website and internal marketing collaterals. The candidate will report to the Content & Creative Head.

Write SEO friendly copy for blog and website of DesignCafe/ Qarpentri

Create and develop creative brand collaterals for customer communication - email marketing, WhatsApp drip campaigns, special seasonal/ festive campaigns, branded content, sales offers for Design Cafe + Qarpentri

Collaborate with Brand team to create store branding collaterals ( internal and external hoardingsetc)

Collaborate with in-house designs teams for all creatives/ visual requirements for copy

Collaborate with SEO team for all daily & operational requirements for organic channel requirements

Develop content for Pinterest, Google stories, WebPush, GMB & Quora

Collaborate with in-house designers to get inputs for blogs & website content

Generate new content ideas

Deliver all goals in line with quarterly/ annual targets of the team

The ideal candidate is someone who has worked with consumer brands in a startup or corporate setting. He/she is someone who is eager to learn, pitch new ideas and a ‘people person’ who can thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Have a Bachelor's or Masters degree in Mass Communications, Journalism or English Literature

Minimum of 6+ years of experience working with consumer brands in a similar role

Has omni-channel sensibilities

Excellent English writing, grammar, spelling and proofreading skills

You are a storyteller at heart, capable of shifting between a variety of writing styles: informative, emotional, creative, journalistic and business.

A creative wordsmith who enjoys the challenges of finding the right combination of words and phrases to create meaning.

A role-player capable of adjusting voice and tone to match a brand’s personality

Ability to work with cross functional teams and navigate a startup environment

You have great interpersonal skills & can build relationships with peers in the organization
