Roles and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Senior Content Writer to join our team in Gurugram. This is a full-time, on-site role. The Senior Content Writer will be responsible for creating content for our website, blog, and social media channels. This includes researching topics, writing content, and editing content for accuracy and clarity. The Senior Content Writer will also be responsible for creating content that is engaging, informative, and in line with our brand values.
• Write high-engagement content that reflects brand’s voice for various mediums & platforms (performance ads, blog posts, emailers, newsletters, PRs, SMS, WhatsApp, website banners, social media, listing and A+)
• Write short and long format content as per requisite
• Collaborate with Marketing, PR and Customer Experience to develop a variety of content marketing materials
• Produce error-free content that adheres to the company’s style guidelines
• Interpret creative direction and adapt points from creative briefs into persuasive copy concepts
• Simultaneously manage multiple projects with short deadlines
• Propose copy concepts and present underlying strategic thinking to business leaders
• Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements
• Collaborate with creative and marketing team on large- and small-scale marketing projects (e.g. email campaigns and landing pages)
• Research, Edit and proofread copy as needed
• Use SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach
• Source images and other content required to support the team
• Work with creative professionals to build marketing projects and brand campaigns
• Contribute to the project storytelling opportunities and assist designers, video content creators, photographers, illustrators to deliver unique project narratives
Qualifications
• Experience in D2C is a must, with a Beauty brand is a plus
• Excellent written, editing, and proofreading & communication skills
• Immaculate understanding of grammar
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Understanding of marketing and branding
• Knowledge of social media trends and best practices
• Ability to create content that is engaging, informative, and in line with our brand values
• Knowledge of SEO best practices
• Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in content writing
