Job Description
We are looking to hire a dedicated content writer to create content for blogs, articles, product descriptions, social media, and Client websites. The content writer's responsibilities will be as mentioned below
• Assist with a monthly and quarterly content calendar including at least one quarterly campaign and one weekly blog post, among other ongoing necessary written pieces including press releases, customer success stories, one-pagers, slide presentation copy, and more
• Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews, and professional studies) for the monthly & quarterly content calendar
• Write all blog articles, success stories, press releases, speaking proposals, one-pagers, and more
• Writing copy for a range of projects and media like social media, websites, print media, branding and marketing collateral, TVCs, corporate films, and ad hoc projects.
• Proofread and edit all content before publishing.
• Build strategic copy for landing pages and website pages
• Submit work to Senior for input, approval, and keywords for SEO
• Coordinate with account managers and design teams to illustrate articles
• Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
• Approve copy of the content for social media from the account managers
• Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone)
• Update website content and copy as needed including building landing pages
• Conduct media outreach when appropriate for public relations article placement
• Coming up with fresh concepts and ideas, presenting to the team and clients, and developing them across various media.
• Closely working with editors, coders, designers, and analysts on projects
• Positive attitude towards work- no qualms about proofing; translations; transcription and vernacular writing
• Pitching
• Attending client brief meetings; briefing the team
• Working on multiple projects at a time, while maintaining quality and sticking to deadlines.
• Work with multiple teams and coordinate to ensure delivery of work without any hiccups.
• Mentoring juniors as and when required
