Ensure content aligns with brand voice, style guidelines, and SEO best practices.
Edit and proofread content for grammar, clarity, coherence, and adherence to brand standards.
SEO and Keyword Optimization:
Conduct keyword research to identify relevant and high-ranking keywords for content optimization.
Incorporate keywords strategically within content while maintaining natural readability and flow.
Write optimized meta tags, titles, and descriptions to improve search engine visibility and click-through rates.
Stay updated with SEO trends and algorithm changes to optimize content for higher rankings.
Content Distribution and Promotion:
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content distribution plans across various channels, including social media, email, and content syndication platforms.
Optimize content for different platforms and formats, ensuring maximum reach and engagement.
Monitor content performance, analyze metrics, and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
Team Collaboration and Leadership:
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior content writers, reviewing their work and offering constructive feedback.
Collaborate with designers, marketers, and subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy, alignment, and effectiveness.
Participate in brainstorming sessions, content ideation, and creative discussions to drive innovation and excellence in content creation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Content Writer, preferably with 2+ years of experience in content creation and strategy.
Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a strong command of grammar and storytelling techniques.
Deep understanding of content marketing principles, including audience targeting, buyer personas, and customer journey mapping.
Proficiency in SEO best practices, keyword research, and content optimization.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and experience in using analytics tools to track content performance.
Excellent research skills and ability to translate complex topics into easily understandable content.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
