We are seeking a motivated and collaborative Senior Content Writer to join our Group Content team based in our Sydney or Melbourne office. Reporting to the Content Manager - Advice & Living you will be responsible for bringing to life Domain's Advice & Living content and SEO strategy. Who are you?


As the Senior Content Writer - Advice & Living you will create engaging content for Australians across all stages of the property journey - including buying and renting guides, suburb profiles and the latest design and renovation tips.
You will have a deep understanding of Domain's key customer segments (Buyers, Sellers, Owners, Renters, Financers and Agents) and the Australian property market and use this knowledge to create content solutions. You will know how to deliver best-in-class content offerings that support audience acquisition, brand engagement and revenue goals.


You will also have a strong understanding of SEO and be able to execute content optimisations and SEO-first content creation, as well as research and analysis. The ideal candidate will:


Work closely with the Content Manager - Advice & Living to implement Advice and Living content strategies, by commissioning, writing and editing articles.
Deliver Domain's SEO content strategy, owning the production of new content and optimisation of existing articles, in partnership with our in-house SEO specialists.
Work closely with the Content Manager - Advice & Living to implement Advice and Living content strategies, by commissioning, writing and editing articles.
Support the creation and delivery of an Advice & Living content pipeline that drives revenue and audience targets and demonstrates the role of content in delivering Domain's segment marketing strategy (Consumer).
Proactively ideate 'big idea' content campaigns aligned to customer segments with consideration of social, video, app and branded content extensions.
Support the successful delivery of Domain's talent partnerships strategy, by helping to identify potential talent partners, pitch talent content ideas and manage talent relationships for the duration of these partnerships.
Ensure all content, including syndicated articles, follow production best practices to drive SEO and business KPIs (widgets, tags etc).
You have:

A minimum of 5 + years' in editorial, digital content strategy or marketing. A Communications / Media / Production degree preferred.
Excellent editorial skills, including editing, commissioning and writing.
Extensive knowledge of Australian Property Market, Australian News and Lifestyle media environment and content formats.
Strong understanding of CMS platforms (Wordpress and Brightcove preferred).
Experience with AI tools and prompts.
Strong stakeholder management skills.
