Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Content Writer who is familiar and has experience writing on topics around SaaS platforms, web app development, or related. Familiarity with SEO best practices is a plus. Timeframes and deadlines can be agreed upon based on your availability and workload.
Responsibilities:
• Recommend innovative and creative ideas for writing content that significantly impacts readership
• Interact with subject matter experts on a multitude of topics and gather information and create relevant material
• Initiate and/or take part in brainstorming sessions to choose themes/content topic
Requirements:
• Experience writing around such topics as SaaS platforms, web app development, etc.
• A solid portfolio of relevant content you've had published
• Familiarity with SEO best practices (applying keywords, internal linking, on-page SEO, and so on) and ability to apply them
• Being comfortable communicating and discussing technical concepts with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to do thorough research on a given topic and come up with original content that covers the topic from the required angles
• 5+ years' experience as a Senior Content Writer - SaaS or technology company experience is highly preferred.
• English proficiency is a must
• Proven content writing experience including a portfolio of published work
• Passion for technology and the ability to make complex information easy to understand (even for non-technical people)
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• A clear understanding of content marketing principles
• Understanding of SEO
