About Role:
Being an aggregator, at amberstudent.com we are building strong written & visual content for B2C & and B2B on Amber’s page. A person in this position will be leading a team of Junior and Senior content writers
B2B: Responsible for building content tailored specifically for property management, directors, and other stakeholders in the student housing industry.
B2C: This will also include managing the content for supply-side B2C content, targeted at students.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in creating both B2B and B2C SEO-optimized content across multiple verticals and formats.
What you will do:
• You will manage a team of 10–15 junior and senior content writers in the supply department.
• Align content objectives, projects & calendars with your lead and the overall team
• You will be expected to be able to craft, edit, and monitor engaging content or copies for diverse purposes, such as video scripts, blog posts, B2B newsletters, LinkedIn posts, articles, reports, and other B2B materials.
• For the B2C content from the supply department, you will be expected to monitor the content on the listing or product pages. This will include monitoring and writing content for marketing material that goes from this department, like: including emailers, video scripts etc.
• Must be able to interpret the intent of content based on the medium and must be able to undertake inter-team functions effectively.
• Edit or improve the content to fit the instructions (SOPs) without compromising fluency, variety, or experiential metrics.
• Must have a flair for understanding how business works, and match the same with market data to create coherent content for simple and easy understanding.
• Has experience and working knowledge of SEO-optimized content and related tools.
• Must be able to collect data on key performance metrics, analyze the results to identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to optimize content.
• Maintaining a log of work with all the details to be updated regularly via daily trackers.
• Ensuring the brand positioning and brand guidelines are met. Set a standard internal format, proofread, and publish content.
• Ensuring the objectives of each project are aligned with business objectives.
• Making sure smooth operations within the team and KRAs are aligned for the content writing team.
Must have skills:
• 3-5 years of working as a B2B & B2C content writer/ manager or in a similar position
• Has experience in managing a team of 5 to 15 writers and cross-team functions
• Must have worked and excelled in different types of content mediums like blogs, newsletters, emailers, video scripts, & more.
• Highly skilled at SEO tools. Must have used Google Analytics, keyword planner, and SEO Quake.
• Must have experience using emailing tools like Moengage, and SendinBlue.
• An understanding of e-commerce website operations and product or technical knowledge will be a great advantage.
• Highly efficient at cross-team functions. Good communication, written and oral.
Other key skills:
• Enthusiastic to work and brings creativity to the table.
• Good time-management skills. Must be able to lead projects independently
• Meets deadlines, understands priorities & takes project ownership
• Must be able to multitask on various projects at a time
• Quick learner. willingness to communicate and collaborate with clients, colleagues, and management
• Experience in B2B marketing role is an added advantage, though not mandatory.
