Job Description
The Content Writer will be a creative force and a crucial part of the marketing team. Your role will extend beyond mere writing; you'll be collaborating across departments, contributing to content strategy that engages and captivates, from crafting compelling DTC ad scripts to creative user-facing comms. Our ideal candidate is a creative writer, preferably with a strong command of Hindi/Hinglish. You’re a master juggler, managing multiple projects with grace, swiftly adapting to changes and always delivering on time. You also remain up-to-date with current trends, pop culture, and social media etiquette. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, staying updated with industry trends, and driving brand awareness and lead generation. ROLES: - Create high-quality written script content for platforms including social media, marketing materials, and YouTube - Conduct comprehensive research on market trends to stay informed of industry developments. - Draft copy for push notifications, SMS, in-app, WhatsApp comms, and other user-facing touchpoints - Collaboration and brainstorming with the other members of the team to come out with innovative content ideas RESPONSIBILITIES: - Taking complete ownership of your projects from inception to completion, and collaborating seamlessly with design and video partners. - Swiftly adapting to our ever-evolving narrative, quickly absorbing and aligning with our brand tonality and values. - You are meticulous and have an eye for detail. You ensure every piece of copy is pristine, error-free, and in harmony with the brand messaging - You do not merely pitch copy concepts; you present strategic insights to our business leaders, showcasing your blend of wit, wisdom, and strategic thinking. KEY REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor's/PG degree or equivalent experience in Advertising is preferred - Relevant experience ranging from 2+ to 6 years - Strong command over both English and Hindi/Hinglish languages. Knowledge of any other regional language is a plus. - Ability to articulate creatively across different mediums - A strong portfolio of scriptwriting, and social media content creation. - Extremely creative, witty, and enthusiastic with great interpersonal skills. - Ability to understand and communicate with 'Bharat' users
