Duties
• Creates positive experiences, builds and maintains colleague and client relationships
• Edits text written by a number of authors to ensure consistent voice.
• Maintains awareness of new words or phrases coming into popular usage with a view to ensuring appropriateness
• Ensures that written material is clear and consistent, complete and credible, and that text is well written, grammatically correct and accessible according to the guidelines
• Maintain and update key Ryan information and data points for presentation decks and collateral
• Other communications administrative responsibilities or duties as assigned
Education:
Preferably BA/MA in English or Communications. 2-6 years of content writing experience, with experience creating marketing content
Additional Skills and Experience:
• A self-starter with the ability to create content quickly
• A continuous learner
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization
• Excellent organizational, analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work with minimal supervision in a collaborative and positive team environment
• Demonstrated experience in handling multiple tasks simultaneously and working with changing priorities in a complex business environment
• Proven ability to be a team player and work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Demonstrated writing ability; proven ability to create value-added content, and ability to work quickly and accurately under deadline pressure
• Understand best practices as it relates to social media copy, including character limitations, calls to action, hashtags, etc.
• Strong skills in spelling, grammar and proofreading and impose consist styles
