The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating compelling and engaging content for a variety of marketing materials, including blog posts, social media content, email campaigns, website copy, video scripts, and more. The Senior Content Writer will also be responsible for overseeing the work of junior writers, ensuring that all content is consistent with the brand's tone and voice, and meets our clients' needs and expectations.
Responsibilities:
• Create high-quality, compelling, and engaging content for a range of marketing materials, including blog posts, social media content, email campaigns, website copy, video scripts, and more.
• Collaborate with the marketing team, account managers, and clients to develop and execute content strategies that meet their needs and objectives.
• Research and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content marketing to ensure that our content is innovative, fresh, and relevant.
• Edit and proofread content created by junior writers, providing feedback and guidance as needed.
• Work closely with the design team to ensure that all visual elements of the content are consistent with the brand's tone and voice.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute SEO strategies that optimize content for search engines and drive traffic to our clients' websites.
• Monitor and report on the performance of content campaigns, analyzing data to make recommendations for future content strategies.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in content writing, with a focus on marketing and advertising.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools, including Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Moz.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
