Job Description for Senior Content Writer
Australian Calendar Timing:- 06:00am to 03:00pm
Full-time Role
Responsibilities:
● Managing a team of content writers.
● Proofing and doing plagiarism and performance checks for content writers.
● Conducting in-depth research on industry-related topics in order to develop original content.
● Assisting the marketing team in developing content for advertising campaigns.
● Proof-reading content for errors and inconsistencies.
● Conducting keyword research and using SEO best practices to increase traffic to the company website.
● Creating compelling headlines and body copy that will capture the attention of the target audience.
● Liaising with relevant team members to identify customers’ needs and recommending new content to address gaps in the company's current content.
● Types of content to be written:
• Websites
• Social Media
• SEO
• Newsletters
• Paid Ads
Requirements
● Minimum 4 years’ experience.
● Experience in digital marketing is preferred but not essential.
● Working knowledge of content management systems.
● Proficient in all Microsoft Word.
● Excellent writing and editing skills.
● The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
● Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision.
● Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task projects and deliverables.
