About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Contracts Coordinator to manage and administer high-value operational service contracts across the Capital Coast and Hutt Valley (CCHV), and Wairarapa Districts. Contracts include patient food services, cleaning services, waste management, car parking management and others. The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000.

The focus of our Contracted services is to deliver an efficient back-end operation to all stakeholders. As our Senior Contracts Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring we meet this focus. This role involves day to day management, coordination and communication with internal and external stakeholders including contracted service providers, clinical managers and members of public.

The Senior Contracts Coordinator will manage and administer delivery of key service contracts on a daily basis and work closely with service providers to implement and maintain the contract systems required. You will also be required to provide administrative support across our wider business.

This role is based primarily at Wellington Hospital with a requirement to travel to Hutt and Kenepuru Hospitals regularly as required and some travel to Wairarapa. This is an exciting opportunity to secure a new role in a growing function within the CCHV District Support and Delivery services.

About the Team/Service Location

The Contracted Services team are responsible for managing a number of high value, high importance contracts across the Districts. We have built a positive, - get things done - reputation amongst our clinical and non-clinical stakeholders with our aim being to support them as effectively as possible.

The team informs the organisation on matters such as best practice, cost of operating, project work, how our services can help to improve organisational/patient outcomes and others. The team both leads and enables change in order to maintain positive service delivery. The varied nature of the contracts managed by our team means that one minute you may be looking at process and policy that could save the organisation millions, and the next minute, what type of air freshener scent to go in the public facilities. There is always something interesting to keep you occupied.

Our team members have built a great team culture over the last 18 months with a focus on service delivery, adaptability, collaboration, inclusion, communication, learning and positivity. This role works alongside one Contracts Coordinator and one other Senior Contracts Coordinator. The role reports directly to the Head of Contracted Services who encourages open discourse and independent thinking.

About you

Excellent Data Entry skills and attention to detail

Attention to detail, self-managing and highly organised

Thrives in a busy and changeable environment

3-5 years office and contracts coordination experience

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal as you will be liaising with clients.

Friendly personality with a solutions focused attituded

Experience using the full Microsoft Office Suite

Knowledge of general accounting would be an advantage

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an agile mindset and adaptability

Able to work autonomously

Excellent standard of service delivery and customer service

High standard of time management skills and an ability to work under pressure

Treats information with sensitivity and confidentiality

Builds effective relationships

Understands impacts of operational processes on the wider business
