Senior Copywriter
As a Senior Copywriter you will report directly to a Creative Director and work closely with the creative team. Your role will be varied and may change from day to day. One minute you will be concepting a 360-campaign; the next you'll be working on a quick turnaround product launch. We’re a small group scattered around the globe and everyone gets their hands dirty. You’ll always be part of a team that has a passion for great work, including creatives, strategists, technologists, and producers who will help you push the work forward.
Location: You’ll work remotely from BC, AB or ON.
What you’ll do
Develop an understanding of business objectives and audience demographics to create targeted content for our clients
Process information supplied by internal and external stakeholders and translate it into effective creative work
Lead concept ideas alongside our art and creative directors
Translate concepts into full campaigns across a variety of mediums, from digital to TV and out-of-home
Work on multiple projects simultaneously
Maintain high standards of copywriting and quality control
What you’ll need to succeed
5+ years in a copywriting role in an agency environment
Portfolio demonstrating your copywriting and storytelling craft, including digital work samples
A strong understanding of advertising and marketing principles, especially in a digital environment
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Ability to demonstrate an outstanding degree of accuracy and attention to detail in all work
Ability to write in a range of voices and styles for varied projects with diverse audiences
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and juggle diverse writing demands
