Senior Cost Accountant

WHAT YOU’LL DO

 Conduct inventory evaluations at month-end, quarter-end, and year-end.

 Maintain accurate records of supply inventory and ensure correct valuation.

 Collaborate with production, shipping, and receiving teams to streamline cost tracking.

 Perform frequent inventory counts to verify accuracy.

 Assist IT and company leadership in completing the inventory module in the ERP system.

 Provide financial reporting and cost analysis, primarily focused on inventory valuation.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

 2+ years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or seafood industry.

 CPA, CMA, or CGA designation, or actively working toward CPA certification.

 Strong Excel skills, with the ability to manage and analyze large datasets.

 Understanding of IT systems and data flows related to cost tracking.

 Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

 Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across departments.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

 Experience in seafood processing, manufacturing, or fish plant operations.

 Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management software.

 A hands-on, team-oriented approach with a proactive mindset.
