Join Foxtel Group’s BALBOA – the new brand for our in-house creative agency. BALBOA is a creative and production agency that helps entertainment and sport brands connect and resonate with audiences through creative that’s built by fans, for fans.
We are currently recruiting an experienced Senior Creative to play an integral role in our advertising team, focusing on creating disruptive, surprising and entertaining brand and product campaigns across Foxtel and BINGE.
Reporting to the Creative Director, you will be responsible for developing clear, persuasive, and original copy that effectively communicates outlined strategic intent… AKA creative that’s on point and under budget. This includes:
Copywriting of all kinds – TVC scripts, OOH, digital, social, you name it.
Campaign concept development and leadership.
Collaboration with art directors and wider agency team members.
Overseeing pre and post-production, making decisions on casting, wardrobe, music, editing, etc.
Liaising with external suppliers including producers, directors, motion houses, etc.
Pitching, including building decks and presenting to clients.
Uncovering insights and constructing compelling creative strategies.
Collaborating with account management to keep projects on strategy, on schedule and under budget.
Analysis of campaign results to optimise performance and inform future creative.
Proofreading and TOV development.
Skills and Experiences
5+ years copywriting experience in an agency environment
Demonstrated presentation skills, internally and with clients
Ability to work independently and self-manage projects
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills – able to give and take feedback and work with art directors and colleagues in a positive and collaborative way
Motivated, shows initiative, flexible, adaptable with excellent attention to detail
A passion for innovation, entertainment and sport
Arts, Advertising, Communications Design or Creative Writing Degree/AWARD highly desirable
