Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Attorney at our Brea, CA office. Qualifications

The 2028 Games mark the return of the Summer Games to the U.S. for the first time in 32 years and Los Angeles' third time hosting an Olympic Games and first time welcoming the Paralympic Games. Counsel:

This position will report to the Vice President, Deputy General Counsel.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support senior members of legal department on identified business transactions and legal matters, including venue use agreements, architecture, engineering, design and construction agreements, venue city agreements and agreements with governmental and other delivery partners.
• Steady stream of self-directed analytical work, meetings, and decision-making, including preparing, reviewing and negotiating a variety of legal documents including, but not limited to, confidentiality agreements, memorandums of understanding, term sheets, master services agreements, statements of work, waivers, consents, real estate documents (e.g., lease documents), and legal memoranda or other correspondence and strategic projects.
• Work closely with individual departments to anticipate, identify and manage legal exposure and risk management.
• Review and understand all relevant corporate/stakeholder documents (including Host City Contract, Olympic Charter, Code of Ethics, etc.).
• Work with outside counsel on matters requiring representation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable international, federal, state and local laws and regulations.
• Keep current on industry-wide legal trends and developments.
Background & Requirements:
• At least 3 years' experience in transactional matters required.
• Prior law firm and/or in-house experience.
• Experience in construction, architecture and engineering, sports, real estate, live-events, or public law (e.g., public contracting, lobbying, or gifting) is a plus.
Expectations:
• Excellent analytical skills; capable of identifying and prioritizing issues and providing alternative solutions.
• Excellent project and time management skills and ability to manage and prioritize changing workloads to meet deadlines.

Education:
• A Bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited university
• A Juris Doctor Degree from an ABA accredited law school
• License to practice law, be in good standing with the California State Bar and have the ability to practice law in California.
