Job description: 1. Responsible for analyzing and managing data for $1.5 billion+ in freight spends spanning hundreds of transporters and manufacturers, that LogisticsNow platforms leverage to deliver on industry’s trust and innovate to create the future of logistics. 2. Focusing on data acquisition, storage, processing & maintenance, data comparison & evaluation etc. 3. Workclosely with the Core Team to help enhance LoRRI data analytics and its use cases. 4. Key responsibilities in all aspects of the data life cycle with special focus on working across different teams and contributing to our digital logistics platform, LoRRI. Educational qualification: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (B.E./ B.Tech./B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. etc.) or related technical field, or equivalent experience – 70%+ in 10th and 12th grade. First class throughout academic career. 3-5 years data analytics experience is mandatory. Primary Tasks and activities : Execute analytics leveraging software such as MS Excel, Power BI, SQL, Tableau etc. and a lot of common sense! Solve the data problem at scale. Build the models that will power the future of logistics and transportation. If you have worked using R and Python to create magic with data, read no further. Apply right now! Deliver powerful visualization to stakeholders to make sense of data In addition to solving the data problems, interact with the leading companies including logistics & supply chain companies and the Fortune 500 to tell them how to use their data. Understand the macro and micro picture of how the logistics industry will evolve, what trends the data shows and how can customers derive value from them. Build trust, perform advanced analytics and impact a $200 billion+ logistics industry! Develop data dashboards, charts, and visual aids to support decision-making across departments. Convey insights through both reports and visual presentations. Secondary Tasks: Support the tech team to build use cases for embedding data intelligence into LoRRI Support Key Accounts teams to drive customer success and delight. Learn aggressively across functions and become a data champion. Skills required: Accuracy, speed and attention to detail matters, as clients will make decisions based on your analysis Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude to find the answers when data is incomplete, inaccurate or both. Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) Background in logistics/ supply chain industry (preferred, but not mandatory) Proficient in one or more of Excel, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, R, Python (preferred, not mandatory) Good communication skills with thorough knowledge of English, Hindi & other local languages will be a plus. Passion for Logistics & Transportation Management with 3-5 years of experience. A go-getter with high energy and enthusiasm. Must be open to experimenting with new technologies & enjoy working in a fast-paced start-up environment. Above all, be flexible and hungry to grow.
