Job Description
The Global Financial Crime Filter Tuning team has responsibility for maintenance and on-going development of the banks Anti money Laundering (AML) platforms.This role is responsible for design and development of detection capabilities / solutions within financial crime filtering solutions. The role will work closely with other members of the tuning team and the Financial Crime Governance and Advisory teams to align new and enhanced detection solutions with identified risks.The role will also have a strong emphasis on developing new methods of detecting potential suspicious matters, utilising advanced data analysis, and technical expertise. There is an emphasis on developing improved solutions for more complex businesses units and products / services and in documenting these solutions to meet governance requirements.About You Good to have SQL/SAS/Python certifications.Advanced SQL or SAS experience including views and complex queries- Advanced MS excel skills, pivot tables and formulasStrong presentation and documentation skillsStrong problem solving skills and analytical capabilityPrevious experience in a role which will inform decision making and analytical skillsExperience of banking systems and processesAnti-fraud / understands risk modelling methodsExcellent problem-solving aptitude and demonstrate organizational skillsAdvanced SQL/SASAdvanced Excel, power BIStatistical data analysisGood to know PythonAML/fraud/Banking ExperienceWhat will you bring?We know not everyone will bring all of the skills and experience, and at ANZ we are focused on people bringing a growth mindset to their approach to work.
