Seeking for a Senior Data Architect - Cloud and Big Data for a position in Chicago, IL, USA Onsite.
Requirements
The client is seeking a highly experienced professional with a strong background in solution architecture, data modeling, and big data technologies. Here are the key requirements they are looking for:
• Technical Proficiency:
• 15+ years of experience in designing and implementing solutions, focusing on database planning, security, data cataloging, and improving database performance.
• Expertise in big data technologies such as Spark, Databricks, and Power BI.
• Experience with testing tools related to big data technologies (5+ years).
• Strong technical expertise in distributed systems, big data, and cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Software Development:
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile methodologies, and continuous integration (CI) practices.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI tools (e.g., Jenkins).
• Architecture and Solution Design:
• Ability to perform IT landscape assessments and application portfolio optimizations.
• Create and maintain architectural views, including logical, conceptual, development, execution, infrastructure, and operations.
• Collaboration with business and technical stakeholders to prioritize and align on requirements.
• Strategic and Innovative Thinking:
• Contribute to gap analysis and solutioning while driving innovation within the organization.
• Ability to explore and recommend new solutions and contribute to technical documentation (e.g., white papers).
