Senior Data Engg2
We are looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer to lead the design, development, and
optimization of our data platform infrastructure. In this role, you will drive scalability, reliability,
and performance across our data systems, working closely with data engineers, analysts, and
product teams to enable data-driven decision-making at scale.
Required Skills & Experience
• Architect and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms (on
AWS cloud using Databbricks).
• Build and manage data pipelines and ETL processes using modern data engineering
tools (AWS RDS, REST APIs and, S3 based ingestions )
• Monitor the Maintain the production data pipelines, work on enhancements
• Optimize data systems for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Implement data governance, quality, and observability best practices as per Freshworks
standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data needs.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related
field.
• Good exposure to Data structures and algorithms
• Proven backend development experience using Scala, Spark or Python
• Strong understanding of REST API development, web services, and microservices
architecture.
• Good to have experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployment.
• Proficient in working with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar
platforms.
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Strong knowledge of code versioning tools, such as Git, Jenkins
• Excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and a keen attention to detail.
