Job title: Senior Data Engineer
Duration: Full–Time/ Hybrid
Location: Hyderabad
Notice Period: 30 days (Mandatory)
Job description:
• Experience Data Engineer professional with hands-on experience in Data Warehouse, Business Intelligence, Data transformation, and/or Data Modelling, software development
• Experience with Enterprise Data warehouse/Datamart, ETL in any cloud platform (AWS/Azure) is a must.
• Strong Python (Data Frame, APIs, Batch processing, Data pipelines) experience is a must.
• Strong SQL knowledge with experience in Query building to extract and manipulate data to achieve desired results using sub-queries, functions, scripting, etc
• Experience in Data transformation using any of the ETL tools is a must
• Understanding of Data modeling for Enterprise Data Warehouse ecosystems
• Knowledge in Spark, Py Spark preferable
• Familiar with working in a data lake environment, leveraging data streaming, and developing data pipelines driven by events/queues.
• Team player, reliable, self-motivated, and self-disciplined
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Creative problem-solving, resourcefulness in getting things done, and productivity created by working independently or collaboratively
• Data Engineer Cloud Certification is preferable
• Designing and developing data models to create new databases or update existing ones
• Providing consultation on data management issues
• Develop solutions that can be implemented in a production environment to improve an organization’s data management practices.
• Working with data architects to design enterprise data warehouses for storing large quantities of data for later retrieval.
• Recommending changes to existing databases to improve performance or resolve issues
• Reviewing and analyzing data sets to identify patterns or trends that may have business implications.
