We are on the hunt for a Senior Data Engineer to play a role in supporting serverless functions using AWS Lambda and integrating them into a Snowflake Data Warehouse. This role will also see you working with DBT and AWS Managed Workflow for Apache Airflow - to build and manage data workflows, ensuring smooth and scalable data processes.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and cloud solutions
Participate in the full data solution lifecycle, from analysis and estimation to development, testing, deployment
Ensure data solutions align with governance, security, and quality frameworks
Optimise data storage and integration with APIs for structured and unstructured data
Collaborate in an Agile team, working closely with leadership, developers, and data specialists
Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve data workflows for performance and reliability
Must have:
6+ years in data engineering & analytics
Strong SQL skills
Experience with Snowflake, AWS Redshift
Expertise in data modelling and ETL workflow design
Proficiency in DBT, Apache Airflow, and cloud based environments
Experience with databases SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres
Nice to have:
Databricks experience
DynamoDB, Kinesis, Lambda & NoSQL databases
Python, Node.js
Knowledge of Kafka, Kinesis Streams & Machine Learning
Power BI, Tableau
