Data Engineer
Job Location: Mumbai
Job Type: Full Time
Experience: 5 to 8 years
Skill Set: Snowflake And SQL
Responsibilities:
• Proficiency in crafting and optimizing complex SQL queries for data transformation, aggregation, and analysis.
• Experience with Snowflake cloud data warehousing service, including data loading, querying, and administration.
• Ability to design and implement data models, applying both relational and dimensional modeling techniques, within Snowflake.
• In-depth understanding of ETL processes and methodologies, leveraging Snowflake's capabilities.
• Convert Oracle stored procs to Snowflake.
• Create Snowflake SQL queries to add and update data, create stored procs.
• Aware of basic snowflake functionalities like query history.
• Should be able to optimize the queries.
• Extract query output / data reports in excel and share with the biz. team
Required Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in visual reporting development, including hands-on development of analytics dashboards and working with complex data sets
• SQL Server expertise
• Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple tasks, set priorities and meet deadlines
