Job Description
Role: Data Warehouse DBA
Experience: 3-10 Years
Location: Hyderabad (Remote with occasional on-site work)
Core Responsibilities:
· Lead the design and architecture of data warehouse systems, ensuring scalable and robust solutions.
· Collaborate with development teams to build and maintain data models and optimize the data architecture.
· Optimize ETL processes using tools like SSIS to ensure smooth data extraction, transformation, and loading into the data warehouse.
· Monitor and analyze database performance against key metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
· Work closely with Sr. DBAs, developers, and BI teams to manage the information lifecycle, data integration controls, and ensure adherence to data governance protocols.
· Identify opportunities for automation, improve database management tasks, and enhance overall database performance.
· Act as a consultant for identifying areas of database infrastructure improvements and expansion.
Required Skills:
· Expert-level knowledge of SQL for query optimization, debugging, and troubleshooting.
· Advanced experience with ETL processes (specifically SSIS) and integration with web applications.
· Strong data modeling and schema design expertise, with a focus on optimizing data flows.
· Proven experience in database performance optimization and automation of routine DBA tasks.
· Experience working with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and understanding how databases optimize these systems.
· Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and Web Services/API integration.
Certifications (Preferred):
· Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate
· Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP)
· Microsoft Certified: SQL Server Database Administration
· AWS Certified Database – Specialty
