Job Description
The Intermediate level, under moderate supervision, analyzes, designs, creates and implements databases, including access methods, device allocations, validation checks, organization and security. Designs data models, logical and physical databases, data dictionaries and schemas. Assists in systems planning, scheduling and implementation. Initiates corrective action to stay on schedule. Installs, upgrades and tests moderately complex database software. Develops and implements database recovery plans and procedures.
Technical Experience Good hands-on experience on SQL Server 2017, 2026.Hands on experience in performance tuning of queries, SP etc.Expertise in deadlock solving scenarios.Hands on experience on table partitioning, archiving of objects.Expertise in High availability, sustainability and security.Experience in solving deployment issues and helping the team to unblock them.Assisting in production deployment release cycle.Hands on experience in PowerShell is added advantage.Good problem-solving skills.Experience in Azure SQL, containers.Ability to write queries and fine tune the queries.Good team player and able to mentor juniors.Understanding of and experience with an agile SDLCExperience in product release cycle, best practices, code reviews and defect management. Efficient in handling changes and enhancements.Strong knowledge of multi-threading and application clustering, scalability, performance, application security, code analysis and optimization.Good database concepts and hands on in design and development.Ensure best design practices and processes are followed for continuous improvement of product.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Work with Architect to define the design of the product Conduct Code Reviews, analyze issues identified by Static analysis tools Collaborate with DevOps team for troubleshooting deployment issues, if any Develop and deploy application to Azure using Azure DevOps and Azure PaaS. Contribute to necessary Architecture documentation, participate in gate review to include Infrastructure, security, and performance. Ensure that deliverables are self-certified prior to transitioning to the downstream consumers of the deliverable (QA and customers)
