Technical
1. Translate and implement database re-engineering requirements to perfection
using Microsoft and open source database technology stack.
Deliver best-in-class solutions across a broad array of server technologies
3. Develop and test across multiple platforms.
4. Serve as a thought leader on the database implementation and re-engineering
issues.
5. SQL Database Performance Tuning
6. Best knowledge about Database Partition Management
Skills
1. Excellent skills at programming using T-SQL.
2. Expertise in performance tuning and optimization of Microsoft SQL Server
production databases, including optimization of stored procedures, triggers,
tables, indices, and configuration settings.
3. Strong experience with configuration and advance features of SQL Server.
4. Software development experience in one or more general purpose programming
languages: SQL Scripting, PowerShell Scripting, Python, etc.
5. Ability to identify and resolve poorly performing queries that require tuning and/or
optimization, as well as, monitor open support tickets, determine trends, and
identify areas for improvement.
6. Strong knowledge of MS SQL sub-systems like SSIS, SSRS, etc. is desired.
7. Experience in setting up database systems to operate in a scalable mode.
