Responsibilities :
Should be ready to work across multiple time zones and across all levels in the organization.
Should have good knowledge of data warehouse expert level for debugging and solving issues.
Expected to understand the data sources, and transformation requirements and design the optimum solution on a desired platform/technology.
Should own the technical solution and get it implemented through the technical development team.
Ensure that the solution meets the business requirements in terms of system availability, speed, and accuracy of data.
Ensure that the architecture is scalable and flexible, and has the necessary error management framework for effective real-time communication, debugging, and fixing of errors.
S/he should work closely with the technical development team and review their work on a regular basis.
Ensure that the proper naming conventions and best practices are followed by the team.
The candidate should be a resourceful and enterprising person, ready to adapt to various technologies and create solutions.
Experience in SQL server monitoring tasks, server migration, performance tuning, database optimization, DB tuning for large data volumes Experience in ETL, SQL Jobs, Archiving, Data encryption, OLAP Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Should have a hunger to keep learning new skills continuously Profile: A motivated and self-driven professional with minimum 5 years of experience in developing and implementing the data warehouse solutions across multiple platforms.
Experience on multiple databases, ETL tools.
Hands-on experience in the designing dimensional data model using OLAP design concepts.
