About the Role
This is a challenging opportunity for a seasoned Mainframe DB2 System Administrator to utilize their expertise in z/OS and lead the development and maintenance of an IBM DB2 for z/OS estate.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement high availability (24x7) IBM DB2 for z/OS environment with advanced functionality.
• Lead all functions of a DB2 System Programmer, including installation, migration, and PTF installation with SMP/E.
• Develop and implement DB2 Stored Procedures.
• Manage and maintain DB2 structures in Coupling Facility and perform performance monitoring and tuning at a subsystem level.
• Analyze and implement DB2 Disaster Recovery procedures, practices, and jobs.
