Roles and Responsibility
• We are seeking a talented tech savvy delivery lead to join a high performing technology team to roll out digital solution for SCB customers. The candidate must be a skilled professional who has previously managed team(s) and must have high proficiency in the latest technologies adapted in the industry. Candidate must have prior experience of E2E software development and working on Agile project.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
• Good exposure to banking domain and banking products in terms of clear understanding of product architecture, product design and Configuration/parameters required to change to accommodate requests for customization.
• Responsible for managing the design & architecture for small to medium projects/ contributing to large complex projects.
• Expected to continue to build upon domain knowledge and technical/ proprietary skills to reach levels of industry acknowledgement.
• Works as a guide and independently sets directions for medium sized projects of high complexity.
• Works on problems of highly complex scope, through expert usage of non-standard concepts & principles requiring high levels of judgement & interpretation.
• Determines a course of action, which is then executed by project teams. Can offer multiple solutions to problems through existing and new methodologies and then exercises judgement to determine most appropriate solution. Requires expert knowledge of multiple development technologies. Applies advanced knowledge and experience to the development of new methods, programs and procedures. The role would offer expertise cutting across units and would make tactical decisions which will have an impact on the business. Manages divergent interest and perspectives. Advises Sr Management on specialised technical issues. Conducts, supports and reports research in ones own area of expertise. Is responsible for capability development of the team/ unit.
• Requires sound technical knowledge combined with reasonable understanding of business issues. Has the ability to correlate technical issues with business environment.
• Advanced project and people management skills are required.
• Responsible for conducting appraisals, feedback & handling work allocations for direct reports & reviewing the same for indirect reports. End to end people management responsibilities for the assigned group. Interacts with internal and/or external clients and customers to plan, negotiate and interpret information on projects and unit operations. Consults with senior management. Responsible for managing the career growth, motivation & retention for the assigned group
• Ensure quality deliverable with minimal or NIL delivered defects.
• Create accurate effort estimates for larger and complex projects to ensure delivery within scheduled plan
• Driving quality initiatives like introduction of automated tools for improving productivity, reducing human errors, etc
• Contributing towards product evolvement and knowledge management
• Contributing to process improvement and ensure process compliance
• Track and monitor work so as to ensure delivery of team output in line with schedule and quality norms
• Ensuring proper resource management such as recruitment, adequate training, career moulding
• Attract right talent and build in appropriate measures to retain them
• Plan and track the resourcing needs for the entire project. Put a proper resource levelling in place to optimize productive/ billable utilization of resources

• Awareness and understanding of Retail business, the wider business, economic and market environment in which the Group operates

Our Ideal Candidate
• Banking Domain Knowledge is preferable
• Experience in the software development using Agile methodologies
• Knowledge & Experience in practising Agile & Lean framework
• Knowledge & Experience in the Microservices and SOA architecture
• Knowledge & Experience in J2EE and good understanding of OOA and OOP
• Knowledge / Experience in Container platform and Cloud technologies
• Knowledge / Experience in DevOps & SRE
• Experiences with relational databases and NOSQL databases
• Experience in the development of mobile/online banking platform
• More than 10+ years' experience in software development domain
