Automotive Interiors– Sr. Design Engineer (IP, Console & Door closure)

· Position : 1
Key Responsibilities
§ Design of Cockpit module components like Instrument Panel & Console from concept phase till design release
§ Plastic component design considering Regulatory and product requirements, knowledge of plastic manufacturing process (injection molding) and tooling knowledge.
§ Should be able to design and develop the master sections, Fixation Strategy, DFM DFA, Tol. stack up, GD&T and concept detailing independently.
§ Candidate should have executed at least a couple of related engineering projects throughout the product life cycle.
§ Creation and modification of CAD models and drawings in required CAD software (NX) to follow defined Costumer design guidelines/ standards. Maintain quality and delivery targets in day-to-day customer deliveries.
§ Customer data management - Perform quality check as per established guidelines - Whenever required take responsibility for product delivery and manage communication with onsite team.
