Position Title: Sr. Design Engineer / Design Engineer
Experience Required: 3-8 years
Educational Qualification: Diploma or Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering
Key Skills: SolidWorks, AutoCAD
Good Experience in Automation, especially Special Purpose Machines (SPM)
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop special-purpose assembly automation systems and testing systems.
2. Validate and finalize design concepts based on customer specifications.
3. Convert design concepts into 3D CAD models and 2D drawings.
4. Perform engineering calculations related to the strength of materials, speed, pressure, and force.
5. Produce detailed drawings with relevant GD&T and bills of materials.
6. Review drawings for accuracy, material selection, and machining processes.
7. Liaise with vendors and purchasing teams during manufacturing and procurement.
8. Coordinate with execution teams during assembly, testing, and machine qualification.
+. Ensure adherence to ISO procedures and ethical standards.
10. Complete projects within the stipulated time, cost, scope, and quality.
Key Deliverables:
Delivery of designs meeting all requirements and objectives.
Regular updating of drawings and implementation of improvements.
On-time completion of design activities with quality.
Cost-effective turnkey solutions meeting customer needs and standards.
Support assembly team to meet customer requirements.

Requirements:

Logical thinking and analytical abilities.
