Total Experience: 4+ Years
Domain- Automotive
Job Description:
• PDM maintenance and updating as per Engineering Change requests in ENOVIA V5.
• Develop detailed part models and drawings in Catia V5 as new packaging requirements in Truck and Bus variants.
• Create documentation for project reports and meetings.
• Communicate with Cross functional teams in India and abroad.
• Independent, self-motivated, result oriented individual.
General Skills
• 6 - + years of 3D CAD experience.
• Good working knowledge of Catia V5, with ENOVIA V5 VPM.
• Experience with being part of a project from concept to production. Knowledge of Product life cycle.
• Strong Basics of Engineering Drawings and Standards
• Experience with modular systems and Layout design.
• Working knowledge of GD&T and tol. stack-up is preferred.
• Good knowledge of materials and their properties.
• Experience with packaging and installation of chassis mounted parts.
• Fundamentals of CAE of Mechanical components. (stress, strain, weight optimization, etc).
• Knowledge of common manufacturing processes used for automotive parts like Castings, forming, plastic mouldings, metal stamping design, fabrication methods, etc.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong technical writing skills. (design reports and presentation).
• Good Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to effectively represent information and respond to questions in a meeting environment.
Specific Skills:
• Previous experience in product development within the automotive industry.
• Experience in Chassis installations/Brake installation/Chassis layout.
