Job Description
The Senior Designer will be responsible for handling all design requirements. They will be required to take end-to-end ownership of all design projects, from conceptualization to execution. They will also ensure that the design team delivers high-quality artwork within deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle all design projects from conception to completion
• Create original artwork and designs for websites, social media, and other digital properties
• Assess junior designers’ work to ensure the production of high-quality designs
• Assign design tasks and projects to junior designers and provide guidance and support where needed
• Work in collaboration with marketing, product, and other teams to meet design requirements
• Ensure brand consistency across all platforms and properties
• Improve user friendliness for digital products
• Stay on top of the latest industry trends and developments
Must-Have Skills:
• Proven experience as Graphic Designer, Senior Designer, or related roles
• Working knowledge of image design software (Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects within tight timelines
• Ability to collaborate with different teams
Good-to-Have Skills:
• Working knowledge of video-making/editing software
• Experience in working on motion graphics is a plus
• Experience in creating illustrations
• Interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Self-motivated
Other essential qualities for this role:
Should have a strong aesthetic vision. In-depth knowledge of typography, graphic design, and styles is essential. Someone who is a natural ideator and does not hesitate to play around with concepts and themes. Needs to be able to own up the entire design machinery from idea to implementation. Should be able to support brand marketing efforts with strong design collaterals.
