Your Role
As a highly talented and creative Senior Graphic Designer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our brand’s visual identity. You’ll craft dynamic visual content that brings our brand stories to life across video, motion, and print design.
What You'll Do
???? Design and Execution
Develop and execute compelling visual designs for various platforms, including: Digital (social media: paid + organic), Websites, Print (influencer boxes, marketing collateral, in-store displays)
Lead the execution of video projects from concept to final delivery (storyboarding, animation, editing, and sound design).
Design promotional materials with an understanding of beauty trends and consumer preferences.
Create mood boards, style guides, and design concepts aligned with the brand's vision. Craft comprehensive creative briefs for in-house and external teams.
✨ Brand Development
Continuously evolve the visual identity of beauty brands to stay competitive in the market.
Lead the creation of new design templates and guidelines to support brand consistency across all touchpoints.
Stay updated on the latest beauty design trends and experiment with new techniques and tools to keep the brand visually ahead of the curve.
✔️Quality Control
Ensure all design work meets brand standards
Oversee production processes for printed materials, ensuring colour accuracy, print quality and alignment with design vision.
???? Budget Management
Where required manage design-related budgets, ensuring projects are completed within financial constraints.
Source and negotiate with external suppliers (e.g., printers, photographers) when necessary.
Other tasks management may deem appropriate from time to time.
???? Collaboration & Leadership
Act as a brand guardian, maintaining and evolving the brand identity across all visual communications.
Provide mentorship to junior designers, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment in the team. Support them in developing their skills as a designer.
Work closely with marketing, product development, and sales teams to ensure design work aligns with brand guidelines, campaign objectives and business goals.
Collaborate with copywriters, photographers, and external agencies.
What You'll Bring
5–8+ years industry experience in a similar role
A relevant qualification in Graphic Design from a tertiary-level institute
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Figma) with a special focus on After Effects (Illustration skills are a plus!)
Experience in Adobe Premiere Pro and 3D design (e.g., Cinema 4D) is an added advantage
Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail, typography, color, and layout
Strong communication skills – articulate design concepts and decisions effectively
Creative problem-solving and self-management skills
Time management: Handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Interest in the Beauty space and an affinity for refined and elegant design.
