Sapiens Digital team is developing Sapiens' next generation of insurance online services, enabling insurance companies to accelerate their digital services to customers and agents. The Digital team is focused on developing online capabilities for insurance companies on any platform, mobile, and web covering a wide range of self-service, commerce solutions aimed at optimizing the customers’ experience during engagements with their insurance companies & agents via digital channels.

Responsibilities
• As a member of the Digital R&D you will be developing a complex, highly available, distributed, cloud-based solution, and maintains its high level of quality.
• You will take an active part in all development phases, including research, design, development, testing, CI and CD using frontline and best technologies including Java 8,Node.js, React 16, NoSQL persistency, Docker, Kubernetes and more.
• You will be expected to take an initiative approach to improve code, tools, and process. Be open minded to walk in a different path and to deliver quickly whilst maintaining high quality.
• Members of the team usually work closely with other Sapiens R&D teams, to leverage knowledge and work done and often to be a role model for other teams regarding processes and activities.
• Play a role in the entire life cycle of development you have to be motivated to drive tasks to completion and take ownership of projects from end to end.
• Ability to meet aggressive timelines and motivate the team to meet the product deadlines.
• Proficient experience in anyone of advanced JavaScript libraries & frameworks such as AngularJS/ReactJS etc.
• Proficient experience in SQL and NOSQL with anyone of database technologies like MySQL/Oracle/PostgreSQL/MongoDB etc.
Ability to design and implement a feature/module in a web application.
Requirements
• Great team player, innovator at heart with excellent interpersonal skills who is passionate about technology, has a strong interest in the latest technologies
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Java/.NET/Django/Laravel/Rails enterprise software development.
• Experience in React - Mandate
• Experience in Node.JS - Mandate
• Public cloud (Amazon, Azure, Google)
• Familiarity with software build systems and code management technologies such as Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins - advantage
• Knowledge in modern architectural methods and patterns such as Microservice Architecture, Cloud Computing and Containers (Docker) – advantage
• Great English written and spoken communication skills
• Excellent technical and analytical skills
• Ability to work in an agile development environment
