Role Title - Senior Developer – Power BI
Role Summary
As a part of IT & Digital team. Act as a go to person and SPOC for all Power BI related developments, enhancements, integrations and operations.
Working with Reporting to: Head – IT & Digital
Org structure: Grade M1 / M2
What the role entails
This position is responsible for planning, coordinating, scheduling and executing required tasks to maintain all developments, enhancements, integrations and operations for variety of business scenarios in Power BI.
• Understand Business requirements in BI context and design data models to transform raw data into meaningful insights.
• Create dashboards and interactive visual reports using Power BI
• Analyse data and present data through reports that aid decision-making
• Design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform detailed analytics.
• Communicate with Business units & leadership team and aim at better visualization and transparency of data analytics, driving insightful business strategies and improved business performances.
• Partner with other Technology teams to create Data models, Charts & Reports in a scalable and controlled environment.
• Experience in Data Modelling and custom calculations in Power BI
• Expert in data modelling and model optimizations using Power Query(M), SQL, Dataflows and Advanced DAX
• Experience in Data Flow creation in Power BI Service
• Developed complex calculated measures using data analysis expression Power BI language (DAX)
• Strong Experience on making DAX queries in Power BI desktop, Power BI Report builder and experience on paginated report development Work with business stakeholders and recommend the visualizations and dashboard layouts based on the requirements.
• Developing visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI.
• Experience on any ETL tool is a plus.
• Experience on Power BI configurations both on premise & in cloud
• Experience on Power BI connecting to various sources like SAP & NON SAP

8 to 14 Years of experience, BTech – IT / Computer Science

• High degree of multi-tasking and time management capability
• Timely completion of the assignment in hand.
• Ability to take on more responsibility after finishing one’s core areas of work.
• Ability to understand the functional needs and convert that into application features
