Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.
Senior Developer is part of a developer pool supporting the functional teams to solve operational issues or deliver on projects.
Responsibilities:
• Development and enhancements for the ABAP Objects (reports, function modules, smartforms, OO programming)
• SAP logic for interfaces, APIs, etc
• Creation of the Technical Design Documentation (TDD)
• CDS View development
• Close collaboration with the Solution Architects, Functional Specialists and integration specialists
• Debug and solve operational issues
• Develop technical design for functional requirements
• Develop and test the solutions
• Maintain and continuous improve the quality of the solutions in operation and new project deliveries
Requirements:
• 8 to 10 years of relevant experience working with SAP (ECC 6 / S/4 Hana) in a hands-on application management organization and project environment
• University Degree in IT or other similar fields
• Fluent English
• Expert ABAP skills (OO ABAP, Report development, Smartform development, idoc-EDI development, Enhancements implementations)
• Experience in SLA oriented multi-site support environment
• Expert level understanding of the SAP product suite
• Expert in diagnosing / debugging / trouble shooting
• Extensive experience with SAP configuration, including workflows, validation rules, and security controls
• Experience defining business requirements, writing functional design documentation
• Expert level experience of SAP modules and underlying architecture design
• Experience in designing SAP software components
• Experience integrating SAP with different business systems, as well as working with integration tools
• Expert level understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies
