This position operates with considerable autonomy, leading initiatives, mentoring colleagues, and contributing to strategic enhancements within the Developer Services team and the organization as a whole.

Key Responsibilities
• Serve as a senior technical advisor to developers creating custom applications and integrations on the Relativity platform, adeptly supporting complex and unique use cases with sound architectural judgment.
• Facilitate advanced onboarding, enablement, and training sessions for developer audiences, delivering solution design reviews and architecture guidance aligned with Relativity's best practices.
• Provide expert insights on the creation and implementation of custom applications to ensure solutions are scalable and supportable, adhering to platform capabilities.
• Act as a go-to point for high-impact developer issues, conducting thorough technical investigations, pinpointing root causes, and recommending robust, platform-appropriate solutions.
• Develop, test, and disseminate sample code snippets, proof-of-concepts, and other practical examples that assist external developers in visualizing optimal ways to utilize platform tools and APIs.
• Utilize comprehensive platform, API, and extensibility knowledge to tackle complex developer issues while balancing multiple simultaneous work requests and tight deadlines.
• Champion, document, and promote development best practices and patterns to enhance the overall developer experience and solution quality.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer teams to relay valuable developer feedback and advocate for platform enhancements.
• Mentor Developer Services Specialists by providing technical coaching, sharing proven strategies, and aiding in team skill development.
• Spearhead or contribute to strategic initiatives that enhance developer tools, documentation, and enablement programs.
• Maintain clear, professional, and proactive communication with both customers and internal stakeholders while operating independently with a high degree of accountability.
• Identify, document, and report product defects and actionable feedback encountered during developer interactions to support continuous platform improvement.
• Engage in annual Relativity user conferences by leading flagship technical sessions and workshops that foster developer adoption, elevate platform best practices, and represent the voice of the external developer community.

Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Extensive experience in software development, involving the design, building, and support of production applications.
• Proficient in SQL and experienced in interacting with relational data stores as part of application development, troubleshooting, or reporting processes.
• Hands-on experience with modern development languages and technologies, including .NET, JavaScript, RESTful services, JSON, and similar frameworks or protocols.
• Strong understanding of modern development concepts such as APIs, application architecture, and cloud-based solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve intricate technical issues across application, integration, and platform layers independently.
• Experience working directly with developers or technical customers in a customer-facing, consulting, or enablement capacity.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences clearly.
• Proven experience collaborating cross-functionally in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience building or supporting solutions on extensible SaaS or platform-based products, with involvement in technical mentorship and developer enablement practices such as training or documentation.
• Demonstrated experience advising developers on architecture and best practices, resolving complex or unique technical scenarios, and converting developer feedback into actionable guidance or platform improvements.
• Strong communication skills with experience in creating and delivering developer-focused enablement content and engaging developer communities through documentation, presentations, workshops, webinars, or conference sessions.
• Ability to work independently with sound judgment, mentor technical peers, and collaborate cross-functionally to foster improved developer experience and platform outcomes.
• Familiarity with the Relativity platform, including RelativityOne concepts, APIs, and extensibility points, is strongly preferred.
• Experience creating developer-facing enablement materials such as sample code, reference implementations, tutorials, or architectural guidance, and presenting technical content through workshops, webinars, or conference sessions.
• Relativity certifications or progress toward certification (e.g., Specialist, Expert, or platform-specific credentials) are considered a plus.
