Collaborate with: Internal Stakeholders : Business Owners, Platform Owners, Technical Architects/Leads (Integration and Other Siteminder products) , Salesforce Developers, Admins, Business Analysts, QA and End users

The Team..
Zuora is used within Siteminder as our core Billing platform and is used extensively by the Billing Operations team. This role will sit within CRM operations team who have technical ownership of Zuora and Salesforce platforms
The CRM Operations team at Siteminder is a very critical function with a wider reach within the Organisation. We are the heart of the operations function and serve the majority of the internal users. We have got admin and development capacity in Sydney, Manila and India.
As our application landscape continues to be closely integrated, the function is increasingly involved in most of the important projects both technically and operationally.
We are looking for a technical geek and an awesome collaborator who will not only design and build solutions in Zuora platform but will also be jointly responsible for technical thought leadership and work collaboratively with Billing operations functions, Salesforce developers and other internal Engineering teams.

The Senior Zuora Developer is an important role in the team who is expected to be an expert in Billing (Product Catalog, Order Management, Rating & Billing, Global Payments, Reporting, Platform and Workflows) and Zuora CPQ modules. Refer here for details
Role is an individual contributor and 100% hands-on role
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of data models, platform functionalities, API, ZOQL and experience integrating with external systems (Salesforce, Workday and internal systems).

The Work
The technical landscape is quite complex and exciting with multiple integration points. There is a huge backlog of exciting projects with primary focus being digitising the entire customer journey and bolstering the integration between Zuora, Salesforce, Workday and other Siteminder systems all while allowing and enabling the Billing Operations team to effectively use Zuora to perform Billing and Collections operations.
Understand existing system landscape including but not limited to Zuora configurations (Product, Pricing, Subscription/Rate plan/Rate plan charge, Promos, Workflows, Bill runs, Refunds, Collections etc) Understand Siteminder product configuration, Sales and Billing cycle and associated technical implementations including Zuora Integrations with Salesforce, Workday and other Siteminder systemsDesign, Develop and maintain customisations within Zuora leveraging ZOQL and Zuora APIsDesign, Develop and maintain various workflows, Data queries and reports within ZuoraCollaboratively develop and maintain integrations to Zuora alongside Salesforce and Workday Developers and Siteminder Engineering teamStay up to-date on Zuora functionalities and proactively identify opportunities for improvementOwn and refresh sandboxes, provide guidance to L1 team and/or independently resolve BAU tickets and Incidents within SLACreate and maintain technical documentations
Self motivated technical expert with high levels of Integrity and passionMinimum 5+ years of experience in Zuora Expert in Zuora Billing (Product Catalog, Order Management, Rating & Billing, Global Payments, Reporting, Platform and Workflows) and Zuora CPQ(Quotes, 360+, Dev kit etc) modulesExpert in Dev toolsExtensive experience in dealing with Zuora APIsExpert in building and troubleshooting complex workflowsExperience with data modeling and integration designExtensive experience conducting design workshops and finalising design approach with wider teamsExtensive experience in Designing and documenting optimal and scalable solutions to address business requirementsProven ability to independently perform development, testing and deployment Must be comfortable in rapidly changing and sometimes ambiguous work situationsExperience in dealing with Zuora SupportExperience in handling low level tickets including but not limited to user access creation/removal, defining user roles, creating price/product catalog etcExperience in troubleshooting and resolving incidents
