The Team
The SAP Business Network is the world’s largest B2B network that makes it easy for buyers and suppliers to collaborate on transactions, strengthen their relationships, and discover new business opportunities. The Trading Partner Portal team is building a unified, collaborative, and intelligent platform to connect all participants in SAP networks and third-party networks. This empowers our customers to have one central place to work with their trading partners. The Role
We are looking for a strong backend engineer who has leadership experience and is passionate about architecting and building scalabbble web applications that millions of users will love.
Run scrum meetings and lead the team on daily development activities
Design, build and deploy highly scalable cloud-based Java microservices
Design and build rest APIs
Collaborate and innovate with Product, Design and other engineering teams to deliver seamless and consistent user experience for millions of users
Resolve complex issues within your area of expertise and supports others in resolving complex issues
The Role Requirements
Minimum BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related experience.
At least 8 years of hands-on experience in application development using Java and design features end to end.
Experience of leading scrum teams on all development activites (specification, design, implementation, testing, automation, etc.)
Deep understanding of REST principles and experience implementing APIs.
Good working experience with SpringBoot, SQL and Junit automation test.
Experience in ORM technologies like JPA and Hibernate
Solid Object Oriented principles and design patterns
Experience in Kafka is preferable
Experience in Docker or Kubernetes is preferable.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
