About the role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Development Assessment Planner to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for the assessment of a wide range of development proposals and subdivision certificates, assist with customer enquiries, oversee the running and provision of advice at pre-lodgement meetings, mentor staff and provide expert evidence in the NSW Land and Environment Court.

Essential Criteria

A tertiary qualification in Planning
Demonstrated senior experience in the assessment and determination of a wide range of development applications and/or senior experience as a planning professional
Current Class C Driver’s Licence
Desirable Criteria

Previous experience in a NSW Local Government environment
Demonstrated ability to work within multidisciplinary teams
Commencing Salary: $103,+3+.00 with progression up to $120,314.00 per annum (based on demonstrated skill and experience), plus 11.5% Superannuation

Access to a Leaseback Vehicle or Motor Vehicle Allowance is available with this position; however, it is not a condition of employment.
