Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Development Engineer – Cloud Backend to join our core engineering team. This is a high-impact role where you will help design, build, and scale backend systems and cloud-native infrastructure. You must have strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production, deep backend expertise, and proficiency with Python, Java, or Kotlin.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable backend services and cloud-native applications.
• Develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and asynchronous processing systems.
• Deploy and manage services in Kubernetes environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Collaborate closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams in an agile setup.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and proper documentation.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
• Kubernetes: Strong hands-on experience in deploying and managing applications in production environments.
• Cloud Expertise: Proficient with at least one major public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI).
• Backend Development: Strong experience building backend services using Python, Java, or Kotlin.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native architecture, and microservices.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes-native workflows.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with multiple cloud providers.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Exposure to monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Monitoring).
• Experience with modern data platforms such as BigQuery or Snowflake.
Nice to Have
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases and event-driven/message-based architectures.
• Experience with serverless computing, managed data pipelines, or data lake platforms.
