Roles and Responsibilities:
Maximize maintainability and efficiency of all current systems/software via code and performance monitoring and optimization, reporting, and integration management.
Debug application issues and provide quick workarounds to bring systems ops to normal
Design, build, configure & manage cloud-based infrastructure and configuration
Mentor fellow DevOps team members, both technically and professionally
Develop scripts using configuration management frameworks: Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes
Setup cloud networking such as VPCs, tunnels and security groups
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and QA engineers, to drive successful project delivery.
Mentor and guide junior team members, providing technical leadership and promoting best practice
Critical Skills to Possess:
7 years+ of experience with Infrastructure as code with Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Spinnaker and Kubernetes.
4 years+ of experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, JSP/Servlets, JDBC, hibernate required
2 years of working experience with MySQL, Oracle databases required.
Working experience in scripting languages (python) is required.
Ability to setup SSO and AD desired
Familiarity with installing and configuring Apache, Tomcat, JBoss, Springboot desired
Familiarity with centralized logging tools.
Familiarity with Linux and Windows systems on internal hosted desired.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
