As the Sr. Director of Content and Storytelling, you’ll play a central role on our global marketing team, leading a talented group of writers, editors, and storytellers. You’ll oversee the creation and delivery of content that brings Slalom’s brand, solutions, and services to life. Working closely with designers, marketers, and business leaders, you’ll ensure our content is cohesive, high-quality, and drives engagement across all channels.

This role is highly hands-on, focused on leading execution while contributing to the direction of our content programs. You’ll help shape narratives and ensure everything we publish reflects our voice, purpose, and commitment to quality.

What You’ll Do

Content Development & Execution

Oversee the creation and delivery of compelling content across web, social, video, and print.
Translate business goals and marketing priorities into clear, engaging, and on-brand storytelling.
Partner with creative and campaign teams to ensure timely production of assets that meet project objectives.
Guide messaging for Slalom’s solutions and services, ensuring clarity, impact, and brand consistency.
Review and refine content for accuracy, tone, and alignment with audience needs.
Storytelling & Brand Expression

Lead storytelling efforts that highlight Slalom’s people, clients, and work.
Develop narratives that showcase our human-centered approach to consulting and technology.
Ensure all storytelling reinforces Slalom’s purpose, differentiators, and voice.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Manage and mentor a team of writers and storytellers, providing feedback, coaching, and professional development.
Build strong partnerships with marketing, design, and business teams to align content priorities and delivery.
Support scalable, efficient content practices by introducing templates, workflows, and tools (including AI where useful).
Quality, Consistency & Delivery

Maintain high standards for content quality, ensuring every piece reflects our brand voice and message.
Oversee editorial reviews and approvals to keep projects moving efficiently.
Partner with program and project managers to ensure deadlines, resourcing, and workload balance are maintained.
Performance & Optimization

Monitor performance metrics to understand how content performs and identify ways to improve engagement.
Provide insights to refine content plans and drive continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring

Proven experience leading content creation and storytelling in a fast-paced, high-output marketing environment.
Strong writing and editing skills with an ability to guide teams to deliver compelling, consistent work.
Experience managing teams, vendors, and cross-functional partners.
A hands-on approach to execution and a bias for action, with comfort balancing multiple projects at once.
Familiarity with digital marketing, SEO, and content production best practices.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence and deliver through others.
Knowledge of content management systems, analytics tools, and AI solutions that improve efficiency and insight.

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this role, we are hiring at the following levels and targeted base pay salary ranges: The targeted base salary pay range for this position is $193,000 to $210,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
