The Senior Director of Software Engineering will be part of the Financial Core Technology organization within the Enterprise Platforms Technology line of business
This senior leader will have oversight of software engineering initiatives that will further the core functioning capabilities of cloud native solutions while leading software engineering teams that will develop a scalable, and resilient Back End platform with architectural standards
Lead, manage and grow multiple teams software engineers in building services and tools that automate governance and compliance requirements, and lead improving the developer experience
Collaborate with internal teams to find areas of opportunities for automation and machine learning
Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of engineers on your team
Work with product leaders to define the strategy, roadmap and destination architecture
Manage a portfolio of diverse technology platforms and projects to build scalable applications that meet our customer needs
Partner with architects, product owners, and software engineers to drive the implementation of new applications
Work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions across the line of business and the enterprise
Lead efforts to build new and modernize existing applications into AWS environments; work to modernize our existing tech stacks
Conduct design and code review to ensure compliance with standards

You will:
• Lead, manage and grow multiple teams software engineers in building services and tools that automate governance and compliance requirements, and lead improving the developer experience
• Collaborate with internal teams to find areas of opportunities for automation and machine learning
• Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of engineers on your team
