Kaplan is looking for a Mobile Application Developer to focus on IOS mobile development. You will work with an experienced team of engineers, business analysts, database and web developers and product managers to implement data-driven websites and mobile applications. You will design and develop
mobile apps for the iOS platform and help build and support internal systems for business needs.
Role:
Building robust and engaging iOS or Android native applications
Work with the business and 3rd party vendors to conceptualize and implement custom designs
Participate in scoping, estimating and risk management efforts
Maintain overall responsibility for mobile application development and deployment
Develop and execute end to end integration and unit test cases
Participate in peer code reviews and conduct code reviews at various stages in the development process
Ensure team process to enter and track implementation information including work items, tasks, and issue management in JIRA
Hybrid Schedule: 3 days remote / 2 days in the office
30-day notification period preferred
You must have:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent from a recognized institution
Ability to evaluate and analyze programming logic coding problems and develop solutions
within existing parameters
Excellent problem-solving skills
Knowledge of commonly used data structures and algorithms
Excellent attitude towards taking challenges and getting things done
Good to have:
Good to have some experience in building iOS or Android Mobile Apps or both
Good to have some familiarity with native build tools, like Xcode, Gradle
Good to have some familiarity with RESTful APIs
Good to have some proficiency using git
