Who We Are Looking For
• Strong hands-on lead developer to be part of eFX trading technology team.
• EFX team comprises of an enthusiastic global development team who design, develop, support and maintain electronic trading platform (MACH) & other e-Trading suite of products/platforms.
• We are looking for passionate developers who have a full stack mentality, understand how to write High Performance/Low Latency code, have good problem-solving skills, can operate under pressure and communicate effectively across all lines of the business.
• Considering the criticality of the business, team members also have to support (L3/L4 support).
• Any candidate applying for this position should ideally possess business / domain knowledge and demonstrate good understanding of FX products (Spot, Forward, Swap, Benchmarks, Algos & NDF), strong technical expertise in building e-Trading solutions in FX/Equity using distributed node architecture (MESH).
• Ability to lead a small team of agile developers. Ability to navigate complex code base, work in a complex deadline driven projects with minimal supervision.
• Ability to architect/design/develop with minimum requirements by effectively coordinating activities between business analysts, scrum leads, developers and managers.
• End to end understanding of software architecture, design, development and implementation.
• Strong Practical experience using Scrum, Agile modelling and adaptive software development.
• Continuous integration and build process, test automation and deployment experience.
• Ability to understand and grasp the big picture of system components.
• Experience building environment and architecture and design guides and architecture and application blueprints.

What You Will Be Responsible For
• Work closely with Product owners, use current technologies where appropriate, and implement full life-cycle, full stack development tasks.
• Develop and support the ongoing evolution of State Street's industry-leading foreign exchange trading platforms and supporting services.

Core/Must Have Skills
• Very hands-on, great attention to detail, good team player.
• Working experience in e-Trading(FX/Equity) technology stack, using distributed node architecture.
• Good product/domain knowledge in FX/Equity trading – OMS, Execution, products.
• Expert-level knowledge of server-side Java - OOPS, low GC, Socket programing, Multi-threading, API gateways.
• Good experience with message brokers & FIX/Binary API protocols
• Good knowledge of Oracle – SQL, PL-SQL, deadlock issues, performance issues.
• Working experience with CI/CD technologies such as Jenkins, JFrog, Bitbucket, GIT

Good To Have Skills
• Performance tuning of Java applications

Education And Experience Requirement(s)

Min Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar technical field with about 15+ years of industry experience.
