Job Description

Due to a number of project wins, our Building Engineering Team are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with strong building services experience to join their diverse team, based in Brisbane.

How you’ll make a difference:

Be influential in the preparation of technical electrical design documentation on building services projects across a variety of industries and market sectors, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective project delivery.
Work closely with a team of experienced, multidisciplinary engineers on major projects, contributing to project planning, design delivery, and mentoring junior engineers within the business.
Contribute to projects across the broader team by providing specialised technical advice, applying your knowledge and experience of Australian Standards and reviewing design calculations, specifications and drawings.
Lead electrical components of major projects across sectors including health, aviation, defence, education, commercial and transport, delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders across our expansive multi-disciplinary engineering team to provide high-level technical advice on community-defining projects, with exposure to client-facing roles supported by a Principal Engineer.

Bachelor of Electrical Engineering Degree with, ideally 4+ years of experience in Building Services projects.
Relevant registration or qualification (RPEQ/RPEV, CPEng) or working towards.
Experience across buildings projects with prior experience in aviation, healthcare, defence, data-centre or transport buildings highlight regarded.
Experience working in electrical services design including lighting, general and specialist power, earthing/lightning protection and power distribution and reticulation.
Proficiency in industry standard software including: ETAP, PowerCAD, Revit, MS Office, AGI32.
Due to the nature of the projects, Australian Citizenship (with the ability to obtain defence clearance) is highly regarded.
