Position Description: Engineering Manager
Walker Digital table Systems is a US based MNC, headquartered in Las Vegas & the leader in networked table game solutions. WDTS develops innovations for Asian Pacific gaming markets including the Perfect Pay Baccarat Table Network that dramatically increases game security and dealer accuracy while minimizing losses from human error, collusion and theft. PJM or “Phase Jitter Modulation” technology is at the heart of WDTS solutions and is the only proven RFID protocol capable of meeting the high-volume, high-speed, dynamic requirements of the casino environment. WDTS has its innovation centers in India, Australia, USA and Asia (Macau & Hong Kong).
We are growing at an incredible pace and we are looking for someone who has the mindset of an entrepreneur and loves problems that are complex, at scale and need to be solved in pressed timelines.
Qualifications & Experience
• Job experience minimum of 6+ years in embedded system design.
• Strong expertise in Embedded Programming.
• Strong expertise in programming C++
• Experience with Python
• Experience in preparing technical design documentation Experienced user of Mixed Signal Oscilloscope etc.
• Experience with developing and using a simulation environment to test code prior to loading on live hardware Ability to manage project priorities and communicate effectively
• Must be able to work independently and self-motivated
• An understanding of the R&D project process (PLM)
Tasks & responsibilities
• Develop and maintain the code base that drives RFID reader system.
• Participate in Research and Development for new and current products.
• Control the change process including version control and release methodology.
• Maintain Reader Firmware
• Work collaboratively with hardware engineers to optimise circuit layouts and performance. Provide advice to management in relation to technical developments in the field.
What to Bring
• Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
• 6+ years of experience designing and developing complex, interactive platform
• A strong track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional, projects and bringing in and growing engineering talent
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
• An entrepreneurial spirit combined with strong program and product management skills
• High adaptability in a dynamic environment
